Hi! Welcome to the Children, Youth & Family (CYF) corner of the website. This ministry is integral to church & community life here at KUC. Our CYF director Joshua is leading new and exciting events catering to families with children of all ages, and to older adults through intergenerational ministries. 

We Run:

Kidsown Sunday School

  • Ages 5-12 from 10-11am Sunday mornings. After spending some time in worship with the congregation, kids are invited to the front to get a sneak-peak at the lesson for the day. From there, we go to our Kidsown classroom, play games and learn a lesson from the Bible.

UnitedWest Youth Group

  • A brand new youth group for ages 12-18 of any faith background! We run roughly bi-weekly on Friday nights from 7-8:30pm with occasional special events. We offer time for friendship and fellowship with board games, we listen to some music and have a group discussion about faith and the Bible. 

Intergenerational Events

  • All ages are welcome here as we gather for events inside the church and around our lovely neighbourhood. We are hoping to run events such as apple-picking, picnics, and afternoon tea!

Family Events

  • Targeted to families with children and teens of all ages. We will be primarily focusing on social events which foster friendship and fellowship. Look out for opportunities to go group skating, to the bowling alley for board game nights!
