 Ottawa Presbytery

The Canadian Girls in Training (CGIT) is a faith-based organization of young women from ten years to 17 years of age. We are involved in fundraising for various charities at the Kanata United Church as well as our CGIT’s Honeython in the Fall in support of Camp Kallala. We participate in the  Annual Vesper in December and make several visits throughout the year to local senior residences.

 All girls are invited for Bible studies, crafts, fun and games and, hopefully, a sleepover in the church Fireside Room later in the year. This year we are also able to offer 5 to 10 hours of community service to  high school students as part of our commitment to “serve others”.
